My friend, Janet and I recently returned from Costa Rica. We rented an SUV at the airport near San Jose and traveled to the Arenal Volcano area, the Monteverde Cloud Forest, and Playa Manuel Antonio on the Pacific coast. Highlights of the trip included petting a 250 pound, 18 foot python, walking on several canopy walkways among the treetops of the cloud forest, and hearing an active volcano rumbling during the night. A Cuban cigar was shared on the last night in San Jose. Both Janet and I provided photos in this gallery.
