A series of drone images taken during different seasons mostly on Long Lake. Although my drones are capable of flying over 15,000 feet away from the controller, thats over 3 miles straight up, you have limitations due to battery power and more importantly, the FAA now prohibits pilots from flying more than a few hundred feet up and you must keep the drone in sight at all times. Since both my neighbor Rick and I are licensed airplane pilots we figured flying the drone would be fairly simple. Actually flying them is simple once you figure out the controls. The last few images show what happens when you fly a drone into some branches. The blades do a good job of trimming trees. Also the last image is a video of what happens when you push the control lever the wrong way. The drone crashed in grass and was not hurt..we chalked it up to another drone learning experience. The image of all the vehicles and people in a circle on a lake was taken during a local ice fishing contest.
