Monarchs in Minnesota

Monarchs in Minnesota

For several summers I raised 25 monarchs at the lake cabin. Milkweed, their staple food was abundant and it was easy to find young emerged caterpillars.( CATS ). Finding eggs was a bit harder due to their size. The second and third images show the size of the egg. One is next to the edge of a dime, the other on a piece of milkweed.
